No brake lights

No brake lights
this is really pissing me off now 
but I have a 02 F150 7700 series and I purchased a 7 flat pin connector from a local Ford dealership he said just plug in and bolt down, this is a factory plug-in he says. I hooked everything up, ground it too the chassis now my brake lights don't work all my other lights work signals, daytime running lights, blinkers but NO brake lights on the truck and trailors I try to pull. My dome brake light works, changed all the light bulbs still no working brake lights, checked all the fuses under the hood and dashboard, don't know what else to look for please help I just got pulled over by the cops and was ticketed for no stop lights, don't want that to happen again LOL!
