Torque converter?
My trans just died last night so looking for a rebuild. What kind of stall speed do I need, lower? And what is the stock stall speed?

I am not sure what the stock stall speed is but my transmission shop said the TC they had custom built for me was about 250 rpm lower than stock. I think most upgraded torque converters are around the 300 rpm (lower than stock) area...

Low stall TC for a diesel is usually considered ~1200 rpm and you will feel a significant load applied when first put in gear.

Does anyone know any good rebuild kits. And what else is needed for a trans rebuild.
