So my steering on my '95 2wd has alot of play in it and it's time to start buying new steering parts. But before I replace everything, is there a way to achieve a shorter/quicker steering ratio? Right now the stock ratio seems to be in the 6-1 range (i.e., 6 turns of the steering wheel lock to lock). I would love it to be in the 3-1 range. I've read that the steering box off a '98-'02 police interceptor Crown Victoria has quicker steering, but is that part a direct bolt on?
If not, then I might just get one of those 13" drift steering wheels to help offset this loose steering, lol.
