My Girl friend drives my 64 F100 occasionaly and would like to have easier steering.
I dont want the complexity, expense, or non vintage look of power steering.
Is there a lower ratio steering box that will bolt right in. I like the feel of the manual steering and want to keep it, as well as my girl friend.

Check the tire pressure..if underinflated, that will cause the steering to be even stiffer than it is now. You might contact the tire maker, find out what the maximum PSI is...adding a few pounds of air will reduce steering effort.
