VMS mud Bog

Posted these on another site, but figured for ya'll that don't venture to the big motor sites, I'd post em here too. This past Saturday I went to run with the really big boys in the mud. I was no way expecting to win, but wanted to see how far off my little "junkyard" truck was compared to the big money motors. This is a hill and hole pit and my truck is really set up for a flat track, so I was more happy that I didn't break anything other than having my carb start acting funny now when I try to start the truck. For reference, to see how deep the mud was before the jump:

Here's my truck in the Mod B class:

My buddy Jeff in his new ranger:

Dennis Anderson in his King Sling in the Unlimited bog:

My Ulimited Bog run on the NO2 and cut tires:

And lastly, my Mod C run where I came out of the pit at the jump and had to turn to keep it in the pit slowing my time down:

Go to The Pit @ VMS and they posted the results with times. I was a close 6th in the Mod B class, middle of the pack in the Unlimited bog being 1 second slower than Dennis Anderson. Not bad considering a professional sponsored truck with an advertised 1500hp motor compared to my little close to 700hp motor. And another 6th in Mod C. At least I was consistant.

Motor sounds good. Did you ever use the exhaust torque plates?

Nah, still running the Schoenfeld uprights for the CJ flange. I'll make use of them next year after many, many more changes are made.
