Kwik MOD is awesome

I was debating on putting it on... then I just went ahead and did it.

This thing sounds so cool Like a jet at take off..
I wish I hadn't wasted so much time and just had done it a long time ago.

My next question is aside from the exhaust I ordered and the programer I have what else can I do to make the truck run more effieciently and maybe a little more power when I want it.

Got guages?
You don't want to cook that motor running on the programmer there.

No I don't have them... Hadn't really thought of them... What company has a good set for a resonable price?

Is there a writeup on exactly how to do this mod, and what is required as far as parts? I'm pretty interested in this as well. I thought I read something about losing your cold idle? Is there a work around for this?

At the top of this page there is a long list of sponsors to choose from. Personally I bought mine from Diesel Performance Parts. I wanted the color banded Isspro pyrometer and not everyone carries that particular guage.

BowDown here is the thread that I started when I put the air filter on my truck. There's a picture on the first post and a short explanation. It's 1/2 hour job.

Beeglej,
you want to know some cheap/easy mods. Well be carefull without gauges, but there are a few things you can do. Waste deactivate, AIH delete, HPX (high pressure cross over), and 10k mod (recommend gauges with this mod, also you may want to take it off before the install of the tuner). These are all very cheap to do, and very effective. You can search any of them one this forum, to get the low down.

The mods don't stop here, that is mearly a start.

Watch out for the PMS.
