OP these are not bad guys and they are not ribbing you just to be mean.. We dont like our trucks messed with for fun and they are all right on the money. Dont dump any money making a 2wd truck try and be more then it wants/can be. Not only is it not functional... But, the truck is not built to handle the added stress. Level her out and buy some fuzzy dice with the free cash we saved you.
If you still want to do it... Rock on ! Its your truck in the end.
Welcome to the forum and don't be afraid to ask anything! This IS as bad as it will ever get.

While you are lifting your truck, why don't you get a 8 inch tall hood scoop and a grocery cart style wing and mount it on the bed rails. It would be pimpin if ya did all that

I'd avoid the body lift. If you plan to do it yourself a body lift is really cheap compared to suspension, but if you want someone else to do it, they can get close to the cost of a suspension. From what I understand, the body lift is cheaper parts wise, but more labor intensive.
With these trucks, it seems like I was hearing close to a thousand bucks for suspension, but definately leave money in the budget for the tires as well. Don't drive around on a skate board.
My 4X4 has a 6" suspension and 35" tires. I have no intention of going offroad or anything. I just like a big truck. Sadly, however, my lift and bigger tires hardly make it look much bigger than todays stock 4X4's.
