Ford Transmission Problems
Hi everyone,
This is my first post and could really use some help. I have a 2007 Ford F350 with a power stroke turbo diesel and a 6 speed automatic transmission. Sometimes while taking off from a stop the transmission has a high whinning sound and the engine races but will not gain speed. If I stop and go again, it usually stops. Now it will not shift into overdrive while driving on the open highway. Changing the tow switch on the shift lever from off to on does not make a change in operation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
