Today, I opened one of the hardlines to an injector and turned over the truck while giving it a few pumps of the pedal and got new fuel coming out. So maybe my motor isn't getting any fuel? What should I check for? And I will look at the ip tomorrow hopefully.
RECAP:
I have replaced my glowplugs, glow plug relay/controller and still no results. My motor just continues to turn but not fire when I start it up, still with no WTS light either. I opened up the schrader valve to the IP today and turned the key and gave it some gas and I receive the 1/2+ pint of fuel thats suppose to come out. However, when I turn the key and give it gas, no fuel comes out of the driver front fuel line I loosened from the injector. Isn't fuel suppose to come out of the line when cranking and giving gas?
try something take a rag and soak it in diesel and place infront of the air intake not to where it will get sucked up in it just enough to get it running then take and hammer on the s.o.b im thinking that this would clear any blockage if any in the fuel lines if you get it started
if you dont get it started take and make sure all your lines has fuel in it make sure that your gas tank does also because my buddys did the same thing and come to find out the gas gage broke on it and it said he had a half a tank in both tanks but it was dry as a bone, if you get the lines clear then you should have fuel running to it if your lift pump isn't bad. but still if your lift pump is bad then you still should be able to get it started by putting your foot to the floor and cranking it over for a long time it will wear out your starter if you do it for a long time without giving it any breaks and thats another thing if your starter turns over but is wore out then it wouldn't turn over fast enough to crank these big motors good luck
Turns out the guy put the wrong fuel pump in, thats fixed. The ttruck started with a jumper wire to turn the wts light on to start. But without a jumper wire, it will not turn the wts light on and start. Whats the parts of the electrical wiring I should check for? I'm stumped...
could that be a reason shes starting hard after i had introduced the air into the system? also i will order new glowplugs im just not sure which ones to get. does anyone know a like for the motorcraft ones? i hear of ppl ordering them and recieving different ones
