Only 2 12V outlets. Really?

2010 F350.
I bought this thing used and 12V outlets was not one of the things I noticed. My manual shows that some trucks have them in and on the back of the center console. I don't seem to have those.
I guess I could wire a group outlet to an Upfitter, but then I would have to mount it somewhere.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Exactly how many 12v outlets does the average truck buyer need? My truck has a powerpoint and a cigarette lighter for plug in 12V power. If you need more you obviously need to wire in your own. Just don't go overloading the fuse on the current 12V outlets. I'd much prefer to wire permanent accessories into the truck, besides visible wires strewn about bugs me.

Wow, I only ever use one at a time, to charge my Droid2. We have occasionally used an outlet for a PC, but not often.

I can't speak for everyone but the five in my truck make long trips with the kids a little easier.

Ha ha its nuts how many of them are in our trucks. Every corner you look there is a outlet.

Phone, TomTom, Hands Free Headset and whatever a passenger may have. That's at least three there. I had to wire in more on my last vehicle, but I thought manufactures were getting on board with today's electronic age!
No biggie. I'm wiring in an AC inverter for my laptop that should take care of the phone and the ear piece as well.

Now consider that the older cars didn't have cupholders.
I actually made new power outlet for my radar detector on the top of dashboard. This way I have no wire on front of dashboard and an outlet that is ignition activated so I don't have to worry about pulling the plug each time.

Maybe get something like the link below, cut the plug off and wire it in to the truck. Mount it somewhere or make a mount for it. RoadPro 12V 4 Outlet Lighter Adapter | Shop Now

did you notice that those plugs multipliers cost more than portable TV ?
Bad part is that you still under single fuse, what limits the total draw to usually 15 amps.

My 03 Excurson had 4. Including one in the back(to the right of the back door) for plugging in the electric cooler. You could always get a console from an Excursion. That has one in the back. There were times I used all 4 but not often.
