Hey guys, i just got a 2007 ford f150 lariat. I was looking for some advise on what to do to it. I already installed an edge evolution programmer, K&N cold air intake, throttle body spacer and a manga flow dual exhaust catback system. My system sounds and looks amazing on my truck. I was looking at spec-d lighting and found the r8 style halogen projector headlight, smoked fog lights, blacked out led tail lights and blacked out Led third tail light, if anyone has anything similar can you please post a picture so i can see if i really want too. i am also9 looking a billet grilles and a potential sound system. thanx

 

I've got a T-rex vertical billet grill on my 06. I think it looks good, but its not for everyone. Feel free to check out some more pictures in my Garage HERE. I've also got an Edge and exhaust, although it's Flowmaster. Also, do you have custom tunes for your Edge? You really need some to get the most out of that CAI.

 

The Edge is meant to be used on a stock truck. Please do yourself a favor and call Power Hungry Performance and have them convert your Edge to Gryphon with custom tunes.

 

My edge is just set to performance right now. i haven't played with the customs to much... but never could find one better so far. Really, stock only???? ill play with the customs somemore i guess. thanx guys

 

the custom they are talking about is a reprogramming from a third party to account for the cai and exhaust. going into the "custom tune" setting on your edge is not enough. the computer needs to know about the add-on performance that you put on, otherwise you will be throwing codes soon

 

oh ok, yeah i can do that. i assume the shop that I took it to would do that when they installed it... maybe they didnt? but ill check into it.. i dont want to see codes on my obd haha.

 

Your shop likely just plugged in the tuner as any user would. Custom tunes from PHP would really bring your truck to life...and safely do so.
