Edge vs Bama

I'm looking to add some performance to my truck soon and was wondering what the census is between the Edge Evolution and a BamaChips tune. I have a 2006 SCrew with the 5.4L. I personally like the way the Evolution looks and can monitor temps and such, but I'm looking for opinions. Thanks!

i'm curious what you guys think about this too....i had an edge and sent it back...the small gains i noticed didn't justify the $$$...

i would send a message to Bob Jusnes.... he is a site sponsor, and he deals with them both. i personally love the edge, but from what i understand, the bama chips is completely custom tuned for each individual ride... based on what other mods you have, and what you are trying to achieve.

Oh, I did not know that about the bama chip. I may just wait until I get my custom true dual exhaust on and get the volant intake before ordering a bama tune. Now, when you order a bama tune, how do you go about "uploading" it to the truck?

Why yes, I believe that is the one. I think it has the "chrome" lid on it though. That will work with the 5.4L 2WD, correct?

I see the hole on the side that would match up with the hole in the fender area, but what's with the huge hole on the front of the intake? Wouldn't that be sucking in hot air from the engine bay?

Exclamation

That lid is actually polished aluminum with insulation on the back side. It has had a little photo shop work to see the powercore. That hole pulls air off the front grill. The one on the bottom is for the scoop.
