Hey Guys,
I just recently purchased a 99 F350 Supercab 4x4 7.3w/6spd. it's going to be a winter project. The doors are very tender along with the cab corners, i was wondering if anyone made aftermarket door shells rather then buying used? i just orderd cab corners and am planning on patching the rockers. if not does anyone know of any front door shells along with a set of rears kicking around? thanks!
I dont think anyone makes aftermarket doors, but factory doors are not hard to come by and are pretty cheap. Any door from 99 through at least 2010 will fit. Maybe even 2011 and 2012.

Legally speaking, doors arent required
Are you sure about that? Not saying you're wrong but it was my understanding that if it came from the factory that way then they were required, unless they were an option. At least that is the arguement that most Jeep owners use to, and still do use, whenever confronted by an LEO that wants to make an issue of it. Doors for Jeeps used to be an option and not standard or required equipment. I don't think that is the case today, but they are still made to be easily removable, and that's the arguement most use. Personally I ran around in mine doorless pretty much year round and never had issue.

I could not find anything in California Vehicle Code that suggests that doors are required. Feel free to double check though. It has always been my understanding that doors are not required.
