Got it operational this evening. I still need to square some wiring in the cab away but I couldn't resist taking it out for a test drive a little while ago. It freakin rocks!! I can't believe its the same transmission. The shifts are nice and firm and not only does it have an indicator telling me when the TC locks up but I can actually feel it now, I never could before. Installation wasn't that bad at all and if it continues to perform like this it will have been money very well spent! I'll update with some pics tomorrow.
The cost was $630 shipped for the controller and wiring harness. Here are some pics, keep in mind I haven't decided excactly where I'm going to mount the controller yet so that is why I haven't tucked away the wiring.
With the truck in park.
Reverse
1st gear
Speedometer, little hard to read in the light but it says SPD
TPS voltage at closed throttle
Trans temp, hard to read with the light again but it says 128
Battery voltage
Backed the camera off a little to give an idea of the size of the controller
Not yet. You can fine tune that comes pre loaded on it with the **** on the controller or you can use the software that comes with it to build a custom program the way you want it. The program it came loaded with is their program for diesel trucks so I'll fine tune it on the controller and I'm sure that will be good enough for me. I doubt that I could custom build one any better.
yes it does.along with the whole factory wiring harness.
it's the perfect solution for the c6 to e40d upgrade.
it is a whole new brain.however one step further,it's very customizable unlike stock.

shoot for that matter it is just the perfect upgrade in general even if you already have the e40d
It sure made a huge difference in my e4od! The only reason my factory TCM is still in the truck is cause apparently the speedometer and tach get their power thru the factory computer. If I can figure out how to get around that I'll take it out all together.
Your tach should be up in the engine compartment right under your vacuum pump?
I believe your speedo should be in your rear end (wow that sounded bad haha)
im sure someone will correct me if im wrong though
Yeah the speed sensor is in the rear end and the tach sensor is just to the right of the oil fill. The wiring for both of them must run thru the factory trans computer cause when I unhooked it all together my speedo and tach had no juice.
ok i gotcha sorry i guess i misunderstood (brain fart)
Yeah i let my fingers do the typing lol before the brain did the thinking, the torque converter and tranny would need to know those things in order to work properly (per say)
