I've got the Death Wobble on my 2007 F350 Super Duty Harley Davidson Edition Crew Cab Dually. I have recently, within the last week, replaced the shocks and stabilizer with Bilstines and bought new tires. This did help but I can still feel it starting to happen but believe the stabilizer is stopping it for the time being. I know that this won't last without doing more damage. I took the truck down for a frontend alingment and was told I needed new lower ball joints and a drag link and figure that with having the frontend torn apart I may as well replace the uppers, tie rod ends, and steering arms with Moog parts because they are a better guality than Ford OEM. What I'm having a hard tie locating is an exploded view of the front end steering assembly and was hoping that someone may be able to supply a link to this information. Thank You
I would definitely do both upper and lower ball joints, or you'll just have to have it all taken back apart later. I don't see much point in doing tie rod ends unless they are bad. They are pretty easy to do without taking the hub apart.
Yes it is a 4x4 and I figure I'll replace every thing now and I shouldn't have to do anything but grease it every 3000 miles to keep it tight. I'm doing it now before we go south for the winter. I don't ever want to experience the death wobble while towing a 40 foot 5th wheel down the turnpike at 70 mph again. I looked into that stabilizer system on the internet that guranties to stop this from happening for a couple grand but think that with quality parts instead of added crap for twice the cost I should be good to go.
the exploded view you posted isn't quite right and I really would rather have a few links that I could pull up and research Thank You
