Keep getting the same code, Bank 2 Sensor 1. Orielys said it also said O2 sensor. Local shop said same code but said Heater Cercuit.
Had all thre CATS replaced, they were bad, they melted. Then threw this code. replace the bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor (new) and it is still throwing the same code. what else can be doing this
You answered your own question. It's the heater circuit that supplys 12V to the O2 sensor to warm it up quickly. Check to see if you have 12V to that O2.
You should have 12V on the LB/OG wire and the PCM provides the ground to complete the circuit on the YE/LB wire. The 12V supply for all the O2s are tied together. Either you don't have the 12V or the PCM isn't providing the needed ground to complete the circuit.

Don't think I would put that much money (3 catalytic converters!) in a 2004 vehicle and now oxygen sensors. Hopefully you got the CATS at a very reasonable price and you have low milage on the 2004.
I know if the CATS when on my 2003 with 138,000 mi. on the OD. I would get rid of the vehicle and sell it as is and get something else. Just saying...
If you buy another vehicle at a thousand over wholesale price, you will lose more than the cats would cost if you tried to resell it. Depends on what the car is worth to you and the condition, not neccessarily the miles.
