I wish my snowmobile was at my house. Still without power here, I've been sitting here in front of the fire for the last 3 hours letting my phone charge in my truck.

Now listening to trees and branches snap in the woods. A branch fell a few hours ago that was about 7" diameter at the end. Tomorrow morning should be fun

Snowfall broke records on Saturday and, by 4 p.m., Malloy had declared a state of emergency for the state and ordered all non-emergency vehicles off the roads. Fifteen inches had fallen in Colebrook as of 7:20 p.m., and the town could get 20 inches of snow.

Gov. Dannel Malloy is asking drivers to stay off the roads and he has banned non-emergency vehicles on the Wilbur Cross and Merritt Parkways due to dangerous driving conditions and trees.
One death has been blamed on the storm. It happened on Route 85 in Colebrook, Gov. Dannel Malloy said during a news conference on Saturday.

Maybe the sanitation districts will remember to plow the streets. During Snowpocolopase many ambulances got stuck or couldnt get to people because the agencies responsible for plowing, didnt.
