2002 7.3 injector issues?

Sounds like my damn truck, idles rough, real rough at 1800 rpm, never hesistates though. Now I say rough because I know how it's suppoesed to idle, so it may not be that bad. I had the black CPS in there, and then swapped to the blue one, changed my ICP out, what a PITA. I just want a smooth running engine. I think my next step is a whole new engine wire harness. Any idea what that runs???

I wouldn't have a clue on price.Does your check engine light come on when it's in drive and idling?

No, it never comes on, but I really wish I could get it live tuned. I love my DP tuner, but it has it's drawbacks.

Rough Idle

I have the same symptoms. Rough idle when in park. Doesn't do it in neutral or when driving. Seems to run ok under load.

Started when I had bad fuel and changed my fuel filter twice to try and clean it out. Have driven about 400 miles since last fuel filter.

Am planning to drop the tank next time I am home to see if there is dirt and water in tank and perform the harpoon mod.

Mine just started when I changed the injectors and valve cover gaskets a few days ago.

Wonder if it's a bad wire somewhere, and with my old truck it'd be nice to get some new stuff under the hood

That's what I'm thinking and hope to get it figured out this week.I'v been driving these 7.3 s for several years now and have never changed injectors before.Oh well.
