I have a 2005 f350 with the 6.0 turbo diesel. When it's cold she fires up right away but after a few starts for the day seems like she is taking longer and longer to fire up?! What could be the problem?
Do u mean slower starter action or just takes longer to crank but spins fine? If itThe reason I ask is a lot of the 05 and 06 models ( i had an 07 with same issue) had a fitting that would go bad and cause it not to build high psi oil correctly to fire the injectors. It usually shows up when the engine is hot. Eventually, it will get to the point where it will not crank at all when hot. But will fire off and run once it cools off. It will spin fine but not crank.
If this gets moved to the 6.0 forum, they can tell u what it is and how to change it. It is called something like the stc check valve but I cannot remember the term exactly.
However, that is just one thing. It could be a few others and unfortunately a really good scan tool is the only way to accurately know.

Sounds like either a STC fitting leak or a leak in the HPO system (dummy plugs and/or standpipes). It's possible you've got battery issues, but I'm willing to beat it's a mechanical and not electrical issue. A Scangauge II would help, need to check for codes.

+2. Classic HPO system leak somewhere. Check ICP, IPR and if out of spec cranking air test system.
