Ball joint Question

Ball joint Question
I am changing tie rod ends and noticed with them disconnected that the driver side knuckle is harder to push side to side.The passenger side is very easy to push side to side.Is one side going bad?With the tires on i used a bar to lift under both tires and neither side had up and down play.Dont know what to do from here but need to get it back on the road ASAP.Any help is greatly appreciated .

If you can't find play, and/or the truck doesn't have ball joint rattle on a rough road, I wouldn't worry about it. Also, any alignment shop can confirm/deny bad ball joints - or should, before they try to align the truck.
If your truck has 180K miles, they surely have some wear - so you can use mileage as one indicator.
