So I recently purchased a 2003 F250 XLT and when I finally got it home, I felt the dashboard and it felt kind of greasy and slippery. Does anyone know of any household cleaning items or anything else that I could use to get rid of this greasy feeling and just clean it up in general?
We use that stuff like candy in the Navy. It's great for general cleaning everywhere. Works especially good on oil/grease. It's non-toxic (will give you the runs though if you drink it...don't ask how I know )

+1 on the Simple Green. Used extensively in the Marine Corps as well, although, I have never tasted it.

Was that a bet at the scuttlebutt? Or did a mess spec think it was bug juice? Funny I don't remember green bug juice! I always jumped on the red!

I use Armorall Wipes. It will make the dash trim very shiny, but be sure not to miss a spot or it will be very obvious when it dries because some will be dull and the rest shinny.
Also, if you use the Armorall wipes on the thinks like the door switches, headlight switch, and the A/C panel, it will make them look new. My A/C Panel in particurlar looks like it just got a fresh coat of paint from the factory. Its very shiny (without being in-your-face about it) and the texturing on it really pops. I highly recommend it.
I will never use Armorall on any of my vehicles. Used it by the gallon on my first 2 cars, but found that you have to constantly keep applying it otherwise your dash cracks 3 times faster. I just use soap and water or Simple Green now.

I won't even use it on the tires.
That may be true for leather, but Armorall wont affect plastics. Unless you use it "by the gallon" haha maybe that was the problem.
