I need to replace both front rotors. They are heavily warped. I have no idea what the previous owner did to make them this bad. I had my mechanic take off the wheels today and I looked at them to determine if they could be re-surfaced......short answer no. They are a mess.
Dealer wants over $125 each for the parts. I can get both with free shipping on ebay for under $100. The aftermarket units on ebay come with a 1 yr warranty.
i advise walking into a local, reputable parts store (carquest, napa, etc) and asking what they have. they will beat the dealships price by quite a bit and if anything goes wrong you have a person to talk to to get it right
Not all iron is created equal, a lot of chemistry goes into it. But i've never seen a problem I could blame on the rotor, its usually a case of abuse or neglect that messes them up, so whatever store has people you like should be fine
Believe it or not I've had great luck with Advance Auto Parts brake stuff---if you ask you'll get USA made parts, rotors typically about $40 each. There is also a promo discount for 15% off any purchase over $100 right away then another coupon will be sent later in Oct for $50 off another order of $100 or more.
Guessing you'll be installing new bearings and seals too--what about pads and/or reman'd calipers? Might be worth it for those discounts.
BTW there is an expiration date on the promo code, orders have to be placed by Oct first.

These guys are right, local stores have good prices and can give you good advice on the product lines. They are also there to help if you have any install questions. As JWA said, get new pads, bearings and seals too. My local Autozone even packed the bearings in the store for me.
While E-150 used heavy 1 piece rotor assembles for years, combining spindle, studs & wheel bearings together, I'd thought they'd been redesigned in later models to be separate & that E250/350 were separate?
Not sure when front brakes got upgraded, but if rotor is separate you don't need to mess w/wheel bearings & seal. Is good time to check calipers, flex hoses & replace brake fluid.
I'm adept at safely removing wheel bearings from the 1 piece spindles & would not hesitate reusing/reinstalling them in new rotors, if examination proven them to be in good shape. It's easy enough to inspect tapered roller bearings.
If you find good OEM/USA bearings they might even be preferable to new China bearings. Clean them thoroughly, repack w/grease & reuse.
Also call around, there's almost always significant differences in prices. You might save cash buying rotors in 1 store & brake pads in another. Most stores will beat others' prices, so it's a good idea to shop online to be armed w/internet prices.
