Thats what the dealer said, but he also told us that someone had come in recently with the same issue, had it replaced, and was back 3 weeks later to have the whole tranny replaced. I'm not sure what to do with it, we just had the cam sensor replaced not three weeks ago, now this. Frustrating.

Chryslers suck! I refuse to work on any dodge product because they are nothing but problems!
Very VERY **** poor engineering in all of them! I would seriously rather fix 3 other vehicles for the same pay as to fix one dodge product.
You want to know what vehicles are junk, just look at KBB prices of used ones. The cheaper they are the worse they are, no joke! High resale value says something.

Yep, I think the worst part is that they don't stand by their products. Our dash cracked near the passenger side airbag so nobody will patch it. My wife got on line and found tons of people with the same issue, called corporate and of course they never heard of the issue but volunteered to pay 10% towards a new one. Called the local dealer for an estimate, they don't make the dash anymore. Junk! First and last Chrysler/Dodge I'll ever buy.

If anyone thinks they are going to get a problem free car by going to another manuf. they`ve got another thing coming! I now work at a shop that works on everything from Kia`s/Hyundais to BMW`s and Benz`s. I can tell you they all have thier issues. anyone care to know how much an X5 alternator costs?!!! how about how many trannies I`ve put in GM products. far more than I have in any Chrysler product! I personnaly will only own a Chrysler Jeep Dodge product. if Dodge made an Exursion type SUV I would be driving that. For now I have the best HD SUV ever made!

Sure all vehicles have problems, some just more then others.
Vehicles with high resale valve are like that for a reason, the general population is pretty much voting for the vehicles with the least problems. I don't see many dodges on the high resale value list.
Very good example that everyone here can relate to is the resale value of a 99-03 7.3 and a 03-07 6.0...

Back a few years ago when I sold cars I found out that many finance companies would not finance ANY Chrysler vehicle with the 2.7L V6 and many aftermarket warranty companies would not offer warranties on said engine at ANY cost.
