Well, you can install Arm-strong steering by working out more, to beef up your shoulders and arms, or you can pull the manual steering gear box and drop in a PS box...but you'll also have to add a PS pulley, pump, lines, and different steering column. But if you're gonna do the power disc brakes, it won't be that much more work to change to PS. Search the forum here and at fordification.com...there's lots of threads/posts on both swaps with pix that show&tell the whole process. If you're on a budget, Armstrong steering is way more economical.
I hear i can keep my column so thats why i ask.... I have read up and want to keep my flawless column. Actually i had no clue it wasnt power steering when I first drove it
Nothin' wrong with manual steering...only time it sux is at a dead standstill, when you need to move the wheels. As for the PS swap, there are two gearboxes...Bendix (junk) and Ford Saginaw (rebuildable, reliable). Bendix was used stock up to 70 or 71 I think, after that it was the Saginaw box. Bendix boxes leak and eventually crater out of the bottom seal, and run/operate hotter. If you do the conversion, go with a Saginaw gearbox and save yourself some future headache.

hmmm sounds good how do i make it work with my column? or what column would i need? and 73-? what for my disc brakes
well if you got the $ for aluminum intake , putting a cast iron on is a p.i.t.a.
360 is not a good motor to mod carb and intake won't make much difference .
find a donor 390 (same block as 360) build it then swap .
I got a 390 that im hauling to the dump. Putting in 302 ;-)
