What mods? or is it a bolt in? It sure looks sweet!
Springs are pretty much a bolt-on, just need to drill the holes. Sway bar is a bolt-on, even the holes are in the frame, just need to be enlarged from 3/8'' to 10mm.
That's awsome! I was going to have a local guy build me some new rear springs, but Ranger's are a dime a dozen in the pick-a-part yards. I asume it was 2wd?
Another tip, if your using the complete harness from the lincoln, i`ve bought the factory wiring diagrams on e-bay, i did the mistake of buying the service manuals first and theres really not mutch in there, there diagrams are huge in size and have all the wiring colours, acessories all labled.
-i`ve salvaged the wiper motor and will be using it on my truck
-i`m also using the crown vic column
i`ve basically used as mutch as i possibly can off the vic to save some $$$ for the rest of the build

Amen Brother! saving $$$$$ these days is tough, but you guys have given me so much help that has saved me from buying things I don't need. Thanks a bunch and keep those tips rollin in.
I was going to back up my smarty-aleck remark with some good advice.. got busy and forgot....but I see others have filled you in on baggies and pictures and such. I'd add the following
HAVE A PLAN !!!!! don't say I'll worry about that later... it's an alligator waiting to bite you in your un-awares. I'm fighting a problem now that shouldn't be one... bad planning. look ahead and write it down... what has been done, what you want to do and what the end result will be... then step thru the process and see what's involved... it will save your brain and your visa card and maybe a marriage...
keep a log of what you do and when... draw sketches and put in important dimensions if they aren't readily apparent. And if you give your pictures names on your hard drive...be specific...like 'left rear spring shackle arrangement' don't just label them 'frontend1', frontend2...
I've got hundreds of pics and 'most' have names I can choose from to narrow my search pretty quickly..some don't
if you're of a mind to and have the time/talent.. write up some descriptions of what your doing... like that Lincoln rear end install... start you a website and post them or at least get a moderator to put them in the tech article section... put the pictures you took in the articles too...
there are lots of newbies that come through here (like you ?) that want information and you'd be amazed at how many need to know what you know... pay it forward..
I love the Ford Ranger spring idea...I was going to pay a local spring shop $85 a spring to rebuild them, but I may go the Ranger route instead. Thanks Jeff.
