Transmission Problems---QUESTIONS????
Hey! I'm new here and was wondering if anyone could help out with a few questions about transmissions. I have a 2000 F-350 7.3L dually that I bought 2 years ago. Bought it with 95,000 miles, it now has 166,000. I am on my 4th transmission.(the last 2 were Jaspers) I am hauling about 22,000 pounds with this truck daily. I was told that I should go to a standard, but it looks like it may be more trouble than it is worth, would it actually help? Would a heavier torc converter help? Any other suggestions?

BTS Brians Truck Shop or John Woods Riffraff Diesel: John Wood Towmaster Trans Both are great and depending on where you are located is how most decide, I am only an hour away from BTS so I am biased, but lifetime warranty no matter what mods you do to the engine.
