High Throttle on Start
I gotta' say I've NEVER had any vehicle do this to me before. I went out tonight... low 60's... just drove the 2000 EX with a 5.4 V8 a few hours ago home from work: no issues. Get in... crank it over... it immediately jumps to 2500 rpm and won't come down. I tapped the peddle a couple time and all it would do is go higher then slowly come down. I shut it off and tried restarting a couple more times, and it just did the same thing.
Anyone else have this and what the crap is it?

Well, it must have been a sensor lock-up, coz after trying to start it tonight and it still wanted to run 2300 rpm, I disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes, then reconnected and restarted and it idled about 1000 rpm like normal.
Still, I've never experienced anything like this before. Anyone else and what was it?
