I need an oil pan for a Ford 360 that is a rear sump setup. The motor cam out of a 2wd '72 F100 and is going into a 1950 F1 so I need a rear sump pan to make it all fit.
I'd love a 7 quart one but paying over $300 for a Milodon pan is crazy so if I can find an alternative I'll jump at it. I do have access to the stuff to modify the pan to make it a larger capacity but I'd like to start with at least the sump in the right area.
I don't know about up in the metroplex but around here there isn't anything older than 85 in the junkards. I know your pain in looking for one. I have a milodon rear sump 8qt and pickup i'll let go for $200. As you've seen it goes for 350+ new. I'm sure we could meet halfway maybe in Hillsboro or something so there'd be no shipping. Let me know if your interested. The only thing I don't have for it is the dipstick tube.
