Oil pan

Can a front sump pan be changed to a later rear sump pan on the 300?
I know the smallblock can.

It can, but I didn't know the 300-6 ever came as a front sump. I know there was a mid-sump, and about 3 versions of rear sump. What you will need is an oil pickup, and pan for an 80 F-100. This pan has the dipstick in it. Also, be sure to get the main bolt that has the threaded stud off the top for the pickup tube support.
