MSD/performance ignition?

MSD/performance ignition?
Well, I want to upgrade the ignition in my 78' f250. I allready have headers, intake, 4 barrel eddelbrock, and aircleaner. So, i figure performance ignition is the next step, short of getting into seriose engine tear down work like cams and so on. So, asked the guy at O-reillys about it today while i was there for parts, other then him dising the 300, stateing that you cant get anymore signifagant power outta a 300 then what they came with from the factory, he went on to search for a good 15 mins, and came up with nothing. So, I'm thinking MSD, but they dont seam to have anything specifically for the 300 I6, or any strait 6, for that matter. So, what will work? or should i look into other brands perhaps? Thanks for any help in advance.

A 78 should already have a good electronic dizzy. If you're wanting an aftermarket dizzy, you're limited. About the best non-stock one is the DUI, where they setup the curve according to your package. I think Mallory is the only other one.
In all honesty, you can do great with your dizzy, but with a few tweeks, and a box like the MSD, Mallory, Crane, or Summit.
