I have an 03' f250...i just purchased it back in august.now when i close my doors all the lights flash so iam assuming its a stock alarm on it...when i got the truck i didnt get any key pad for it...
Question is can i get a keypad for the stock alarm from ford or something?
Super Duties didn't come with factory alarms until way later, like 2008 or so. There was an aftermarket Ford branded alarm that the dealer could install. But the lights flashing when you close the doors is not a normal behavior for any alarm or truck I have heard of.
I think you need to figure out what you have before you start buying stuff.
I've spent many hours searching service manuals and other information and I have never found any information suggesting their was a factory alarm on 99-07 Super Duty.

Im not saying it has a factory alarm. My truck doesnt have one.
Im defending the "lights flash when i close my doors blah blah" thing. Im just saying its possible... some alarm systems do that.
Or just point to a window sticker that says Factory Alarm. Or instructions in an Owner's Manual on how to use the factory alarm. Or anything. I have found nothing.
Well if it's not an alarm, what's the panic button for? And how come when you press lock twice it honks? Is it for show.
Seems like we've been over this before. If there was a factory alarm, I'm pretty sure it'd be mentioned in the Owner's Manual, like these two features are. But it's not.
