I dont look for attention and yet have been pulled over and have had my tanks dipped twice on my SD and once on another truck that I used to own.

Running red fuel is a federal offense and must not be done. If you choose to do it fine, but please do not use FTE to promote illegal activities.

Duly noted....my apologies to the forum, I Do Not advise the practice of using off highway fuels...especially now that we've hit $3.69 here in central jersey. Sorry , I'd kick myself in the a$$ if I could.

Frankly, it sounds like you became apologetic once the moderator called you on your condoning and openly encouraging ("I fill up at the red pump from time to time...nobodys gonna bother you") and co-conspiring ("Maybe I can hook u up"). Co-conspirators are legally liable in tax-evasion cases with both the federal and state governments...and you will be held responsible in both jurisdictions should you, or when you, get caught. Please post you attorney fees and fines if it happens...ought to be interesting.

Ive never seen or heard of anyone in CT having their fuel checked in their pick up. Its a different story if you have a DOT number on the side though. Also we just had our diesel tax raised here six cents in july, seems like the gov has forced our hand to run the red... Lol jk

guys common, if your decide to run anything besides what is legal fuel for your truck please talk about it somewhere else.....This website has a level of standards. Some people on here consider this more then just a wealth of information. Last thing we need is this and having it get into a legal situation.

...im not trying to call people out but please talk about matters concerning illegal stuff elsewhere.

I'm with you Phil...It sounds like the Sopranos talking about whacking someone at a Police Benevolent Association dinner...

Surprised to hear the DOT dipped the tanks on a Super Duty Jim- never heard of them doing that, maybe someone ratted you out LOL. I'm not admitting to anything, but I can understand how people may want to find a way to keep more money for the family- especially since the govt waste our tax dollars on stupid stuff (illegals etc) but that's a topic for the members only thread / alternative fuels......

I think up in taxachusetts Jim's SD is registered commercial? Might be why he got dipped. I hear they go after guys with transfer tanks in the back, especially in farm country. They wanna make sure you aren't running the red stuff for the tractors in your truck.
