question about timing

question about timing

i replaced the timing chains on my 2001 navigator and now i am getting a code p0174 and p0301 could i have got the timing chains off causing these codes

It's more likely the P0174 code is due to a cracked vacuum line and the P0301 code is because the 2-wire connector for the #1 COP isn't plugged in tight.

if you had your marks right on the chains, on the cam and crank i would think its not your chains
