Recon Projector Headlights ?

Recon Projector Headlights ?
Hey guys, is anyone running the Recon projector headlights on their superduty? I'm curious about how bright they are over the stock head lights if at all...? Any input is appreciated as I'm looking to put them on my 2010 F350 drw. Thanks

I remember reading somewhere, think it might have been on the Recon Facebook page, that a guy said his recon headlights were not as bright as the stock ones. He was running whatever bulb's recon recommended I think, said he was going to switch to HIDs to see if that made an improvement. I'm sure by now the post is gone because Recon deletes anything negative on their page.

No vote for HID
Checked my headlights this am @ 0430. I can see well over 1/2 mile with hi beams and almost as far with low beams. Why change something that's working.
A buddy had HID on his truck. Nothing but trouble. Loose connections, bad grounds, fix it ticket for headlight out.
Save your money on a better mod. My $0.02 worth.

Thanks for the info guys...that's what i'm hearing, definitely not worth the $400 JUST for the looks. If we were talking about an increase in light projection, it might be worth it. Thanks again...
