89 BII plastic window guides

Has anyone had the joy of replacing the plastic window guides on the window bracket? I was hoping there might be some plastic guides that just press on to the window bracket ball studs. LMC doesn't show any for the BII, but does show some for the ranger. I guess I'll run up there this week and check them out. I do have some guides, but they bolt on, so I would have to cut the current ball stud off and drill some holes. Anyone have experience in this area. Thanks

I have experience in this area. You have to cut off the old roller assemblies, which are like big rivets, then punch out the remainder of the rivet. Next put your new roller assembly in the vertical track which you had to remove to perform the operation. Then, reinstall the track assembly on to the top roller assembly and slide the bottom roller up to the old roller hole, and bolt it in. My top roller assembly was still good, so I only had to replace the bottom roller assembly. If you have any other questions, just ask. Cheers
