Cylinder ID sensor???

Cylinder ID sensor???
My girlfriend's 95 escort quit the other day, and I pulled the codes on it. It came up with a 214 code which my book said was "cylinder identification sensor-circuit failure" I've never heard of this sensor. Does anyone know where it's located and what it is. Thanks for any help in advance.

Cylinder ID sensor???
the cam sensor is located to on the back right of the cylinder head if youre facing the engine. it is near the throttle linkage. it is a long black cylinder which goes into the head. the intake will have to be removed to get it out. it has a 2 wire connector.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know. I figgered somebody on here would know a bit about the cars too. Now if only the auto parts store had ordered me the right sensor. Got it in yesterday and they got me the crankshaft sensor instead of cam sensor so now I have to wait til friday or saturday for it.
