I hear ya on the 4wd. Its not really that important to me. If I want to play around in 4wd thats what I have the Jeep for. I grew up in north east Ohio where the lake effect snow hits hard. I know other places can get more, but where I live now in Connecticut is not one of those places. I always used to drive 2wd trucks there in Ohio, so I'll be just fine here in Connecticut.

That said, got out of work early today and wanted to check some of these trucks out...

The 06 F350 V10 sold two days ago

The 07 F350 6.0 Diesel sold today

The 00 F350 7.3 Diesel sold today

and

The 00 Excursion doesn't exactly have a clean carfax. Prior accident on file for it and it was repossessed. Its enough I don't want to consider it.

Anyways, back to the inter-web to search for some others.

I have, but I am guessing most on here are not looking to take a 2009 Mazda 5 Grand Touring on trade...

I did find a 99 F350 CC LB? 2wd 7.3 diesel with 60k original miles on it for $13900. Only problem is it has a Reading Utility bed on it

You can sell the reading bed and use the cash for a regular bed, tailgate and bumper and I'm taking a wild guess but its white too.

I thought about that very idea. I just don't know the market or value of those beds?

I do like white trucks, but this one is red, lol.

If a 150 could handle your towing needs, you could get a pretty nice newer one for your price range.
But USED car shopping is the worst thing ever known to man. I f8cking hated it. Took me like 6 months of craigslisting and autotradering everyday to find a decent ride.

You could call around shops that do those very conversions or check craigslist.

I'm not fond of white due to lovebug season but white SD's are a dime a dozen around here.

I would put the bed on craigslist like mentioned. Lots and lots of people from all kinds of businesses would be interested in that bed! They are nice for all kinds of stuff from plumbers and electrical guys to welders and wood working handy men.
