2006 F-350 PSD Lariat
Loaded. 3500 Miles. 160 hours on the engine. No mods. Crew-Cab, long bed with liner, everything. It has never towed anything. All required maintenance. It has been broken in properly thus far (non-towing, etc) but it hasn’t been worked (obviously). It is a gorgeous truck.
I haven’t been a member of this board long enough to know if this is against posting guidelines but this is not a solicitation for sale. I am looking for some intel from the most knowledgeable folks I know, on a site I kinda know. Bottom line, I feel like I can trust this site. And the members.
So here goes: If I want to sell her, what is she worth?
It is kind of a shame (really more than kind of) but this beast has been babied. She hasn't even had the cord of wood we bought for the winter (I know, I live in Texas) in the bed. We used the 1983 454 Dually -- the "real" work truck (the only one we kept when we sold the business) in the family. And I do NOT mean that as a brand flame.
<O</O
This family has owned work trucks (Ford, GMC, Dodge). We know work trucks. But this one was not purchased to work.
The Lariat was bought mostly to be a cowboy Cadillac. A truck that we might work part time towing 5th wheels, etc, to Florida, or making an occasional run and bobtailing on the way back. For fun. If we met cost, that's all we wanted. If not, well, it was fun.
<O</O
Long and short, we bought it mostly just to have the biggest, stoutest, best-lookin’ truck on the road.
On to the point…I can look up values on Kelly and so forth myself. What I want to know is how much is she worth to the average Ford enthusiast on this board (or anywhere) who can afford a truck like this?
<O</O
Again, this is a serious question. Thanks in advance. <O</O

Sorry I wasn't clear, Garrity. It doesn't have "everything." As you know the standard Lariat is pretty well optioned. Listing everything is probably more than most want to read. It has the Fx4 offroad package, leather, power windows, doors, seats, cruise, multi compact disc, premium sound, bedliner, premium wheels. It is a dually. I am probably just spinning my wheels. I was just looking for some real world feedback. Thanks for the replies.

I just bought mine after shopping for 6 months. I paid $38k for an '06 king ranch w/ 15k miles and I probably overpaid (but I HAD to have this truck!) The Lariat package would probably bring a tad less so I'd say mid 30's is a good guess. I think a good rule of thumb would be the KBB listing for private party sales.

$35K - $36K is what a wholesaler would offer you. I'm trading my 2006 for a 2007 as we speak. Bought the 2006 for $36.5K, drove it for 10 months and now I'll be in the new one for $37.6. I don't mind loosing $1.6K for brand new one, again.
As for your avg. mph...22? Pretty low for even a city truck.
