A/C help
I got my a/c to work finally but when I have it on cold and Max AC it blows hot but I'm sure that's cause the engine is warming up so how or what would make it blow cold? I believe the AC coolant will need to be switched over and it might be empty to not sure??

What year? Have you put a set of gauges on it to see what its doing? is the compressor engaging ? We need more infor to even begin to diagnose.

I just found out from the previous family owner that the cable on the switch that makes it hot or cold is disconnected on the other end.would this have that effect.
