Yes 11mm 6 point deep socket on air rachet works nice and quick to suck pipes closed with heavy coats of antisieze on all mating surfaces ( nice and slippery)

This is exactly how I did it I found that I had to push the ypipe towards the firewall abit while I sucked it up with an air rachet in the other hand worked like a dream
Hmmm, I'll have to try that. I gotta replace a turbo on one bus, and do a stc fitting on another tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. Always happy to learn new assembly techniques.
Well, good news and bad. Think the y-pipe is seated nicely now but I found my other leak. The EGR inlet marmon clamp was riding up on the flange instead of around it...guess I should have mirror checked that BEFORE I put the turbo back in . Anyway...got some struggles ahead in the next couple days, not much free time working 6 days. I'll post the good news when it comes and I think I'll be using the anti-seize trick too this time! Thanks guys...
Success! Managed to realign the EGR inlet and snug the clamp while only removing the heat shield on the manifold. Ran down the road a bit, ran great again...amazing what a little boost'll do for ya...
Anyway, still showing P1000 which I assume is from all the bad readings it's been taking while I've been troubleshooting. If there are any comments on that code feel free but I'm not concerned for the moment.
