Hmm, I'm guessing that's the best picture you have? The hump on the hood and the tiny part of the fenders that are visible reminds me of a '48-'52 Ford, but I can't really tell from the picture and it seems a bit wide. Are you sure it's a Ford?

There's quite a few large 6x6 military trucks around my town in fields, but I couldn't tell the difference between a Ford and any other manifacturer in those type of trucks.

Looks like a military issue to me. Maybe an International Harvester? or some derivitive of Jeep? Hard to tell given the pic.

A friend of mine saw that movie. He said he remembered the truck because of the dagmars, or teeth as most people call them. It is a '51 or '52 not sure if it is a bigjob, but most likely.
It is about a bunch of guys transporting explosives through the jungle in old military trucks. The trucks in the movie are all a bunch of hybrid movie vehicles like in most fantasy movies.

The hood is reminescent of 48-52 Ford, but it looks more like an old military Dodge or Jeep than a Ford.

Unfortunatelly it´s the only picture i have. i´ve been trying to find some more but it´s hard to find even a "normal" big job on the web.
the humb on the hoob looks real strange...i wonder if it has a use because in the film it looks real massive.
i´m not absolutely sure if it´s a ford, but the dagmars look typical like a ford - or were there any other vehicles with such?
the strange thing is that i´ve never seen this truck somewhere apart from this film and i´m a real expert in military trucks i think. it appeared neither in any of my books nor somewhere else in the web.
i saw "sorcerer" about 10 times... the other truck they use is a GMC M211 - almost with no modifications. but in the yard where they choose the trucks were many more of several brands.
did the brazilians build any fords in licence? maybe they modified a standart type like any big job.
i know they once modified a cckw 353 (american WW2 truck) but they weren´t built because of high costs or so.

Hmm...Anyone ever seen that crocidile hunter movie? I was watching it with my little brother and in one scene in a barn and there is a strange looking truck that definetly looks like a '51-'52 Ford, but I have never seen one anything like that in America. Anyone else seen this truck?

I don't think its a Ford. The bullet style grill was only 51 and 52 and only had three bullets. I see five in the picture.
