engine upgrades

new to the forum..ive got a single cab 97 f350 with a 5.8..im lookin into doin some engine mods..ive got dual exghaust with glass packs and k&n..but thts all ive done to it so far..i was looking into programmers or a chip..but from wat ive heard is tht they dont do much for my truck..just lookin for the best bang for my buck..any advice would help thnx

1- Welcome to FTE.
2- This section is for big rigs.
3- I'd suggest forced induction.
4- I agree with programmers not being that great of a difference, but anything helps.
5- cam swap.
I could go on, but it gets really spendy.

Great idea but . . . these are all discontinued and have been for some time. You would have to find a used setup on fleaBay or Craigslist.
