it's too late once I figured it out- I've already driven the pin in the bottom and put the whole thing together.
Now that I know how to do it I guess I'll be doing them again next summer just to fix it. But I only drive 10000 miles a year +/- so it should hold up till then. plus the fronts were just done with new caliper assembly etc so the truck will stop better than it has since I've owned it.
