We watched Fallen Angel last night. its super intense with the surround sound turned up loud. Julie jumped out of her seat several times. It was a shoot em up, blow them up kind of movie, but it was very entertaining.
I watched the story behind Van Halen and Chicago. Both were interesting, of course I was more engaged with the Van Halen Story.
I watched a bunch of Netflix this weekend, different movies, and didn't really get much else accomplished.
Watched beetle juice- and Mulan with the little one recently :-) Also finished star wars rebels series-- she really liked it :-) Might start clone wars :-)- might not-- still watching my winder towing guy- but now I watch new ones every so often-- they also have new seasons of grand tour and the 14th season of Top Gear and more shows from those three. :-) James May actually has a very funny cooking show.
Mason was hounding us to watch Titanic since he's really "into" the history of the boat, so we signed up for the Starz trial subscriptions and watched the movie as a family. Had to skip through a couple PG-13 parts, but the boys enjoyed it quite a bit. I hadn't watched it since the 90's, really solid flick!
Jamie and I also watched a bunch of other Starz movies like Me Myself and Irene, Edward Scissorhands, and Office Space. Hadn't seen any of those in years either, plenty of good movies to select through that service. Too bad I'm too cheap and will be cancelling it tonight, lol.
we havent watched that with calista but bought her a lego model from the museum in Branson-- she did a report on "dogs of the titanic" for school so she was really interested.
Looks like disney is going to have several new series coming out this year (22 of them) -- they are trying to take out netflick and prime video it seams.
SO I finished Kobra Kai on Jan 1st (watched the whole season in 1 day) - Then we finished forged in fire-- a knife making show-- been watching that one for weeks--- Watched Soul on Disney-- Christmas day- it was ok-- and have been watching many short restoration builds-- tools and other stuff on you tube. Saw Love and Monsters on prime-- it was great!!-- hope they have a sequel. A whoile lot of tv time-- but some of that was while I was working in basement- or just family time during quarantine.
We watch the Bridgerton series on Netflix. It is set in the early 1800s in England and is best discribed as a romance/bodice ripper. It is a soap operas thing but has enough cheesiness and sex to keep one interested. Not for kids unless you want to have them see naked bodies doing what naked bodies do.

Jiggle? ha h a ha :-) been watching a few episodes of Stargate sg1--- Its a sci fi thing. I missed allot of tv from 87-99. So some of the old tv shows are cool and new to me. My daughter really likes some of the older shows and we watch them as a family-- which any time I can get her to put down her phone is a plus :-)
Watched the original Peter Pan movie with the family last Friday night. Hadn't watched it since I was probably the boys' age and I forgot how good it was! Lots of slapstick comedy and action to keep their attention. We'll have to start watching some of the oldies on Disney Plus more often
Bought National Treasure 2 since the UHD digital copy was on sale for $5 and I had enough digital credit promotions on Amazon. We picked up the DVD a while back to watch in the car and the boys enjoyed it, so we'll be streaming #2 tomorrow for our movie night.
We've been watching some of the old westerns on GRIT tv and they are fun. Some are cheesy viewed from today and often the historical aspects are stretched beyond credibility but they make fun entertainment. Using guns from the late 1800s in a civil war movie for example. Mixing up history and people from two different locations or eras would also be an example. Still just catching the mistakes adds to the interest.
