if you saw my othe rpost the mariner started runnign real ruff and had 8 codes, it went back to running fine, it now has one of those codes, and one transmission code. i believe it was p0720 transmission out put speed sensor. im going to try to take it out clean it and bench test it somehow. the o/d light flashes along with the 4wd light, and cel.
its shifting later, and when you stop and take off it wont start out in 1st, unless you manually down shift it. the engine issues at times were related to shifter postion. sometimes it would run fine in drive, but not in reverse or nuetral.
this car had an autostart installed over the winter and im starting to wonder if its related to the connectors they use. i realy need to get this car taken care of and i cant afford to take it to the dealer for a 2 or 3 thousand dollar bill, on an 05 car. i wouldnt call myself a mechanic, but can change pretty much any part, ive rebuilt engines, but i mess around with old cars this thing is driving me nuts.
