I bought it used. No warranty. It is a 2010 Escape with 4Cyl engine (not electric)
​​​Here recently the check engine light has been going on and off. After the engine light comes on, a strong sulfur smell comes along. Then my car would start jumping when sitting still. It stopped for a while and started doing it again.
Now, the engine light is staying on reading codes for Heated O2 sensor and some sort of evap leak. (455) last of the code numbers. We bought a new O2 and replaced already. Car ran fine for a week then started doing it again. Only difference is, any time I slow down (say, turning or sitting a red light) my car cuts off.

Ive done some research and I think it may be a canister purge valve so I ordered one and am currently waiting on it.

But, yesterday I was packing up my son's stroller after turning the car on and noticed there was liquid spraying from my exhaust pipe.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME or at least let me know if I am on the right track in finding what is happening. This is my only vehicle and I am a single mom with 2 kids about to go back to school.

Well, it sure sounds like you may have some issues...... definitely need to check for codes, previously cleared codes and run a complete diagnostic on the engine health..... the liquid could be several things from normal moisture/condensation buildup to head gasket failure....but don't jump to conclusions until you actually diagnose this
