Small Block 2wd ZF5?
I have a 1995 f250 reg cab, 5.0, 2wd with a M5OD. I drive the thing like a badly abused mustang and am now getting 'funny' noises (which aren't actually funny at all) from my (second) transmission, as well as grinding into third and occasionally popping out under deceleration. What models/years should I be looking at for a donor Zf truck? I know the zf5 won't solve driver issues, but hopefully it will delay them lol. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Wouldn't it be cheaper to change driving style? The M5OD is a decent transmission, if you don't abuse it. Going to a ZF will make the engine the weakest link, and then you'll be starting threads titled "Help, I've blown my engine...what now?"
