That's a common problem on these trucks the joints dry out from lack of use. You need a special socket to get the wheel bearing nuts off but besides that it can be done with regular hand tools, expect to spend 2-3hrs/side the first time through the job.

These trucks have rear abs only and the front brakes do most of the stopping so an ABS fault shouldn't have any real effect on the brakes. If you lost braking power you probably tore off a brake line, you're gonna have to get under there and have a look.
You are going to need to pull all the wheels off and look at the whole brake system. Make sure there is enough fluid in the reservoir. Check for leaks everywhere, including under the wheel cylinder dust caps. Look for broken hardware in the rear drums. Clean and adjust the rear brakes.
If you don't know how to do any of that then try to find a friend who knows brakes. If you can't, then get a chiltons or haynes manual.
i looked and saw no problems for the brakes. The front end i got to go to my uncles shop to change it and pay him to let me use his stuff also now im leaking oil from some where
No i havent heard it. right now im in a college course so imma bring it to the auto lab and we gonna look at it for awhile and see whats wrong but its really making me mad cause im trying to get a 4x4 for winter that runs =(
If you are seriously in college courses, maybe take an English course so we can read your posts. Punctuation and grammar are huge. Buy a book and read it for your problems. I think you have a bit to learn. Oh and if your uncle wants to charge you to use his stuff, then he isn't a good family member and I would just spend the money on a basic tool set to use.

I see this point, but if he has a business, he needs to have SOME sort of money flowing....If it's during regular hours, maybe a discounted labor rate..
Its during because i dont have time after school cause of work and my girlfriend. We think we might just scrap or sell it for 300 to 500 its not worth it anymore my mom put it in the ditch! lol
