Driveshaft play

sorry if this has been coverd before

I have a 94 f150, when it went into first it klunked and from stopped it klunked when gassing it, I replaced the U joints today and seems to have fixed the klunk problem but when I drove it around the block it made a big bang noise so I stopped and noticed the drive shaft has a good bit of play on the rear end yoke , is this normal? am I worried for nothing? please respond if youv had similar issue

Check the pinion. Im not sure if I wanna say it could be the bearing or the seal... But I can confidently say to check the pinion.

No, that isn't normal. As Volvo92906 already said, it sounds like the pinion bearing is toast.
