....well its hard trying to find a 05+ with 4x4 but i think "if i was you" i would go ahead and upgrade to the 05, i really regret as far as the 3row seat in my navigators a little tight but im hoping i get a better job and im get an 05+ navigator

When I bought my 06 4x4 i had the choice between it or an 07 EL 2wd for the same price. I missed out on the six speed tranny and the extra room - but i have used the 4x4 a few times. I maybe could have made it in 2wd but did not have to make that choice. Think about how many times you have used your 4wd while you have owned yours and that should answer your question. I do not off-road at all (in the Expy) but hunt a couple of times a year and we deal with some questionable boat ramps pulling a short boat (meaning I have to go further down the ramp). I am not sure if my next will be 4x4, but it probably will be. I am in FL - so we have no snow or ice issues. Many people ask me why I need to 4wd in FL - I don't need to explain it to them - my choice and 2 cents. We absolutely love our 06. Good luck, Mike.
